MS51FB9AE MS51 Is An Enhanced 8-Bit 8051-Core Microcontroller With Flash 1T Working Mode




MS51 is an enhanced 8-bit 8051-core microcontroller with Flash (1T working mode). The instruction set is fully compatible with the standard 80C51 and has higher performance. The MS51 16K series has an embedded 18K Flash storage area, usually called APROM, which is used to store user program codes. The Flash memory area supports in-application programming (IAP) function, which can update the program code through the on-chip firmware. The IAP function also provides a user-configurable program area or data storage area. The IAP function can perform read and write operations on the data storage area, while reading data can also be achieved through MOVC instructions. MS51 has an extra storage area called LDROM, which usually stores the boot code used to execute in-system programming (ISP). The size of LDROM can be configured up to 4K bytes. To facilitate programming and verification, the entire flash area supports parallel programming and ICP programming. The Flash can be encrypted by the encryption bit to ensure that the program code cannot be read.

The MS5116K series provides a wealth of special function modules, including: 256 bytes of SRAM, 1K bytes of XRAM. Up to 18 standard pins are available. Two sets of standard 16-bit timers/counters: timers 0 and 1, a set of 16-bit timers with 3-way pin input capture mode: timer 2, a set of watchdog timer (WDT), one set Self-wake-up timer (WKT), a set of timers with automatic reloading function that can be used to generate standard baud rates: Timer 3. Two sets of standard serial ports (UART), these two sets of serial ports have frame error detection and automatic address recognition functions. One set of SPI, one set of I2C, 6-channel enhanced PWM output, 8 channels of 12-bit ADC. The above function generates 18 interrupt sources corresponding to 4 levels of interrupt priority configuration.

The MS51 16K series supports 3 groups of clock source inputs, and all clock sources support software switching (on-the-fly). Three groups of clock sources include: external clock, 10kHz internal RC oscillator clock and a 16MHz internal high-speed clock that has been calibrated to an accuracy of ±1% at room temperature before leaving the factory. MS51 provides additional power monitoring and management modules, such as power-on reset and 4-level low-voltage detection. This module is used to ensure the stable operation of the system when the chip is powered on or off

MS51 can run in two low-power modes-idle mode and power-down mode, which mode can be selected by software. In idle mode, the main clock of the chip is turned off, but some functional modules are still running. In the power-down mode, all clocks of the chip are turned off to ensure that the power consumption of the chip reaches the lowest level. In the normal operating mode, the main clock frequency division mode can also be selected to ensure flexible use between power consumption and performance. With high-efficiency and rich functional modules and configurations, MS51 can be flexibly used in various applications, home appliances, and even high-end demand control systems such as motor control
